Oh! I just got the job of a life time; a job I've always dreamed about having and now it's mine. Nevermind you're up till 1 am perfecting your company's product, on the phone with sales representatives, ect.! You and your spouse always have that toothbrushing time in the mornings before the two of you have to jet off to work. You're happy right? I mean the two of you spend so little time together that you never argue. It's the perfect realationship....Right?
You bump into her at a grocery store. The two of you make eye contact like it was something in the movies, meant to be, love at first site. The two of you have a happy courtship, laughing about the samethings, you two never have to compromise because it was destined to be! But you're spending so much time together you can't seem to make it to work, school,etc,.
Now suppose you are like the rest of us, you have a decent job, not your dream job but you muddle through it to see your spouse . She is pleasant but you don't have that soulmate connection.
What to do? Be happy with our job but no love life, be happy with your lovelife but basically not have a job, or have a life full of compromises?
